Vintage Westmoreland Glass Co. Chick On A Sleigh Milk Glass Covered Dish

Description

Vintage Westmoreland Glass Co. Covered Candy Dish/Mustard Dish from the early 1900’s. It is known as "Chick Emerging from an Egg on Sleigh“. The bottom of the sleigh still has the green/gold paint.  Some  paint is also still present on the top edge of the sleigh, the top edge of egg, the head of the chick and the base of the lid.  The candy dish is in excellent condition for its age, no chips or repairs; there are t
wo hairline surface cracks on bottom of lid (see photo); they do not go through to the top.  The dish measures ~4" high from the base to the top of the chick's head, ~5" long, and ~3 1'2" wide.
