Stromatoporoid Piece

Description

Another somewhat hefty stromatoporoid piece. Genus Stromatopora, but with a few less nicks. The organism must have been pretty old, but its hard to tell the full size and shape from fragments that fell off a cliff. Mid-late Devonian Petoskey Limestone Formation bioherm, Petoskey, Michigan, USA.
