    Description

RARE MINT CONDITION 1000 mg 24k gold Aurum Indian Chief Silver Certificate note
This rare Aurum note contains 1,000 milligrams of 24k gold. Its design is a practical replica of the 1899 Indian Chief Silver Certificate, which features Native American Chief Running Antelope in full headdress. While the Silver Certificate is one of the most popular denominations in currency trading, the 1899 Indian Chief is particularly popular. One reason perhaps is because it is the only piece of United States paper money to ever solely feature a Native American. The face of the note features the Silver Certificate and the reverse is a mirror etching of the face.
Pictures do not do this piece justice, they are eye poppers! This Aurum comes printed with high resolution, full-color text and graphics and comes with a banknote plastic sleeve protector.

What is an Aurum? An Aurum is a super thin, flexible sheet of 24k gold that is forged between layers of protective polyester. The gold in an Aurum is easier to authenticate than gold hidden within a coin or bar and is easy to recover using standard assay methods. Do not confuse an Aurum with other, much cheaper, gold-plated replicas.
