Up for your consideration is a vintage Chinese or Japanese wedding basket. It was part of my grandmother’s collect and she lived in Japan during the 1940’s and this supposedly survived the earthquake of 1944.
Charming wood basket with two tiers.
Overall very nice with no major defects.
Approximate Height to top basket is 16 inches. Height to top of handle is 9”, and width is 8 inches.
Great for storage or decoration. Many use as a sewing box also.
