Description
This 1/10 gram 24 karat pure [0.999 fine] Aurum Gold Note features the "Dove of Peace," most often associated through Biblical and other references as the harbinger of good tidings and great joy. The Aurum Note is approximately the size of a US Dollar, giving the soaring white dove space to spread its wings against a solid gold background. With the words "peace," "love" and "joy" written in blazing red, and various sized off-gold stars cascading like a meteor, the note is eye-catching in its appeal. All Aurum Gold Notes are produced by Valaurum, Inc., located in Portland, Oregon. This privately held corporation is altering the way many people save gold as an asset, combining the inherent value of gold with the collectible quality of finely, colorfully designed bank notes. Some countries, such as Cook Islands, Tanzania, Solomon Islands, Ghana and others, are authorizing Aurum Notes to be used as legal tender currency, usually accepted as "coins." In the United States, Aurum Notes are being used as "Volunteer" currency when accepted by willing businesses. Starting with Utah and continuing with Nevada and New Hampshire, these so-called "GoldBacks" are not only useable as money but are truly beautiful works of gold art. Each State has its own culture and history featured on the notes, and Wyoming and Maine are states in line to adopt Aurum Gold Notes. [NOTE: The first picture of the "Dove of Peace" Note is a Stock Photo. The Note a buyer receives is Guaranteed to match the quality of the note photographed.] The Aurum "Dove of Peace" Gold Note is secured in a Bill Sleeve attached to the inside of a Golden Life Card. A "mini-bio" label relates the essential details of the Note and of gold's origin. A colorful envelope is also included that is suitable for storing the Note or gifting it to a loved one. As with all Aurum and Gold Notes, a common assay process entailing burning off the polymer substrate containing the gold will leave behind nothing but an exactly weighted pebble of pure gold.
